Enterprise to Cloud
I am Samil Mahapatra, an MSc student at Dublin City University building a focused path in cloud administration, infrastructure, DevOps, IT service management, and project coordination, with a long-term goal of growing into cloud architecture roles.
I previously worked at Hexaware Technologies in India from 2022 to 2025, where I gained exposure to enterprise IT, cloud-related work, structured delivery, and ITIL-aligned service thinking. Before that, I was associated with SDNx from 2020 to 2022 as the State Representative for Odisha, contributing to student-led technical initiatives involving rovers, drones, and mini satellites with strong IoT-oriented exposure

From school in India to engineering college and postgraduate study in Ireland, my academic path has shaped the foundation of my technical and professional growth.

My academic journey began at De Paul School, where I studied under the ICSE curriculum from Class 1 to Class 10. This stage built my early discipline, learning habits, and educational foundation.
NIST, Berhampur
I completed my undergraduate studies at NIST (National Institute of Science and Technology). This phase strengthened my technical foundation and shaped my interest in engineering, systems, and applied technology
DCU, Dublin
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree at Dublin City University, where I am building a more focused path toward cloud administration, infrastructure, DevOps, IT service management, and long-term cloud architecture roles.
